Dr. Ronald P. Snyder is co-owner and founder of Pearle Vision at Saint Andrews Plaza. Dr. Snyder is responsible for overall operations of the facility and specializes in contact lens management and technology. 

Dr. Snyder began practicing in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1969, and in 1979 merged operations with another well-know optometrist, Dr. Jack Solomon. Together, the team built one of the most successful and highly recognized contact lens practices in the State of Florida. During his tenure in private practice, Dr. Snyder published over 100 articles related to contact lenses technology and eye care.

Dr. Snyder left private practice in 1998 to become the Director of Professional Services at a prominent laser eye center. Two years later, he founded a disposable contact lens company that he still operates today. In 2003, Dr. Snyder relinquished the management of his contact lens company to his partner in order to build the first elite Pearle Vision Center and ultra-modern eye care facility in Boca Raton, Florida.

A Maryland resident by birth, Dr. Ron Snyder grew up in Annapolis. After attending the University of Maryland, he graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia with a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Optometry Degree. In 1967 he became a commissioned officer in the US Public Health Service serving in the US Public Health Service Hospital in Staten Island, NY and the US Coast Guard base on Governor?s Island, NY.

Dr. Snyder is married and has 4 sons and 5 grandchildren. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, past President of the Broward County Optometric Association, member and former Trustee of the Florida Optometric Association, and member of the prestigious organization, Society of Contact Lens Specialists.
