Dr. Joyce Salomon
Optometric Physician
Dr. Joyce Salomon is very proud to join the practice of Drs. Snyder and Beck at the Pearle Vision at St. Andrews. She brings with her 25 years of experience in the areas of general optometry, pediatric optometry and specialized fitting of contact lenses. Dr. Salomon was born in Detroit, Michigan. While pursuing her degree in Child Psychology from the University of Michigan, she was accepted for early admission to the Illinois College of Optometry, where she received both her Bachelor of Science in Visual Science in 1981 and her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1982. After graduation, Dr. Salomon moved to Florida where she began a long, successful association with Pearle Vision. Together with her partner, Dr. Steven Schwitzman, she owned and operated two Pearle Vision locations in Pompano Beach and East Boca Raton.
Dr. Salomon has two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys running, cycling, baking and travel. She also enjoys donating her time and professional expertise to many organizations, including the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, as well as conducting vision screenings at local preschools.
